Welcome to the inclusive village of Evreux (France)

At the heart of the Delaunay Park, a tailor-made playground with the theme “half-timbered architecture” has been installed. The style of the play structures is perfectly integrated in this tree-filled environment and evokes the charming village houses.

The playground is entirely inclusive and has been designed to be the most accessible and user friendly.

The wet pour ground is adapted to welcome a person in a wheelchair to move easily to each play structure.

The long main play set has an entrance/exit on both sides to allow a child with minor disabilities to cross the play structure.

There are many activities proposed :

  • The village shop where you can weigh the fruits and vegetables before paying at the checkout
  • The clock which informs about the opening hours of the shop
  • The large slide to slide with somebody if necessary
  • The small house with the benches and the table to have a quiet time and communicate
  • The play panel “simple ring” for a manipulative game accessible for a child in a wheelchair

In the centre of this tiny village, more play structures are installed.

Totally inclusive play structures such as:

  • The “tub’phone” (ref: PL827A): it enhances the development of the language with the sound amplification and allow a child with hearing impairment to play with somebody
  • The sign language panel (ref PL814)
  • The Braille panel (ref PL813)
  • The hedgehog spring toy for people with reduced mobility (ref: JR93DUOPMR)

Play structures for everybody :

  • The Butterfly spring toy (ref: JR66A)
  • The balance circuit (ref: EQUI3)
  • The swing (ref: PORT2)

Congratulations to our partner FD AMENAGEMENT for the installation of this playground accessible for everyone. If you have a project for an inclusive playground, reach out our sales department.
